Flaky Sheets

Okay, so Marissa and Brittany came over last night and spent the night. WE HAD A BLAST!!! Well kinda. Marissa and Britt spent the night fighting about who Brittany thinks Marissa should marry. Marissa got her dogs in a pile and spent the rest of the night pouting. JK! They only had a slight difference of opinions. :) Wait let me back up and start at the beginning of the night. Marissa had to work till 11 so me and Brittany meet at the mall for dinner and some quick shopping. (In case you are wondering I found a pair of shoes that I really want from Dillard's but they are $48 and that is to much to pay for a pair of casual shoes.) Then we went to Michael's and loaded up on stuff for black light night and went to my house. Here are the results of our hard work with fabric paint and a t-shirt.

Skipping a lot of juicy conversation (What is said at my house stays at my house sorry guys) we were getting ready for bed. By now it was close to one o'clock in the morning and, we were all tired.....As we were preparing for bed I made a comment to Brittany about my sheets pealing and flaking. Marissa turned to me and said something like....."I love flakes on my sheets!"
We died laughing :) No it is not as funny now but it was hysterical then! Glad my sheets are not rainbow or anything like that :)

Hey I have a BIG ANNOUNCEMENT coming so stay tuned :)

Cajun Humor

A Cajun man wants a job but the foreman will not hire him unless he passes a simple math test first.

'Here is your first Question' the foreman said 'Without using numbers represent the number 9.'

'With out numbers?' the Cajun said 'Dat is easy....and proceeds to draw three trees.'

'What's this' the boss said 'Ave you got no brain?'

'Tree and tree and tree makes nine' replied the Cajun.

'Fair enough' said the Boss 'Here is your next question, using the same rules represent the number 99.'

The Cajun stares in to space for a while then picks up the picture that he had drawn and puts a smudge across each tree 'Ere you go.'

The boss scratches his head and says 'How on earth do you get that to represent 99?'

'Each of Da trees is dirty now, so dirty tree and dirty tree and dirty tree dat is 99.'

The boss is now getting worried that he is going to have to really hire this Cajun, so he said 'Alright last question. Using the same rules represent the number 100.'

The Cajun stares into space for a while then he picks up the picture and makes a tiny mark at the base of each tree and says 'Ere ya go, One hundred.'

The boss looks at the picture and exclaims 'You must be nuts if you thing that represents 100!'

The Cajun leans forward and points at the mark below each tree and says, 'A little dog come along and poop by trees. So now you get dirty tree and a turd, dirty tree and a turd and dirty tree and a turd, which make 100.'

The Cajun is the new supervisor.

SHOOOOOWEEEE!

Good gracious, what a week or two it has been since I posted last! I have been to Texas, started school, and had some fun at What n the Word. Starting at the beginning....Texas was great. I enjoyed the chance to get out of town and see some new scenery. And what scenery there was to see :) The part of Texas that we went to was a part that I have not been to in years, if ever. We drove down into one of the canyons to see the play TEXAS and I was amazed at the beauty of the canyons. It was like being back in Colorado.... but different. The play was good but would have been better if we had not been sitting so close to the stage. I posted some pictures of the canyon but they do not do it justice.

Monday after returning from Texas school started. I am enrolled in four classes two in class and two fast track on line classes. What that means is in the first eight weeks I will be taking Humanities I, Speech, and Intro to Physc (this is my online class) and in the last eight weeks the Intro to Physc will be replaced with Computer Concepts. So far the classes are ok. My professors and class mates are are interesting people.
Friday night we did What in the Word and played a few games. Pictures to follow.....

A Look In The Future

HUMMMMM!!! A look in to the Future! How exciting can this be!! I bet you are reading this with greedy eyes just dying to know what insight I have into my future. (Read this with only mild sarcasm)

Maybe, I have had a dream from a higher being that has reviled to me everything that my heart desires to know...... Wellll..... sorry to bust your bubble but I have not. When I say, a look into the future I am talking about the very near future, like Saturday, and Sunday. I am super excited about this weekend, My family, Ben, and I are packing up early Saturday morning and heading to the Promise Land, other wise know as Texas :) Right now a trip anywhere would be a wonderful change to the boring pattern of life. I cannot wait!

Groan!!!!

What to blog about when there is just not much to blog about? That is the question. You see I don't have just a ton of excitement in my life. Sooooo.... what do you want to hear about, the Thursday that I spent babysitting....Four adults and forty kids....screamin, yelling, running around...(that is the kids screamin and yelling and running around... not the adults :)

Or maybe you want to hear about the Friday and Saturday that I spent at work....with hissing cats, dogs with broken pelvises, a new doctor....We did not have youth Friday night so I had Taco Bueno for dinner and went to bed early like an old grannie...Saturday night I went to Savastanos' (or how ever you spell it) with the C & C and made it to bed early again....

Oh hey, I could tell you about Sunday....lets see....work again in the morning...choir practice, then church (which was really good) and then out to eat for Jonathan's birthday.

But who wants to be board with all the unnecessary details?

Whoot Whoot!

I am loving it! I have three days off with nothing planned except for being lazy and doing exactly what I want to do. :) HA HA HA!

What a joke.

Well I do have three days off from my paying jobs, but my mom has other things planned for me. Mom and I had some quality bonding time while decorating her classroom. How is it that I always get talked into helping her decorate? Don't get me wrong...I do not mind helping her but I'm the one that has to come up with the ideas.....that would not be so bad if we were talking about a second or third grade classroom but we are talking high school here!! HOW IN THE WORLD DO YOU DECORATE A HIGH SCHOOL CLASSROOM! (sorry for yelling;) oh well we got 'er done.

Now that I have vented I feel much better....
