So very sorry about my prolonged absence....NOT! Well kinda. There has just not been that much to blog about to tell you the truth. I am enrolled in what I hope is my last semester at Tulsa Community College and am sticking it out...not really enjoying it just...enduring it. The one class that I do like is my art class. So far we have only worked with pencils but I have learned so much, and am looking forward to learning how to properly paint.

In other news I have discovered PINTEREST....I love finding the funny quotes and words of wisdom....

The following are some of the my favorite.

Over the last few weeks I have had to explain to a coworker why I dont have a boyfriend. She was not satisfied with the normal "I have not yet found my Prince Charming." ... So I had to go into the whole "I dont want to just date anyone and everyone that shows interest in me because...." and on and on. Then I found the above saying and it explains what I feel to a 'T'.

OH my I LOVE THIS QUOTE!!! If you can not eat it or play with it....

There are so many times I would like to use this quote at work.....directed towards my boss. SO needless to say I just smile and bite my tongue.

I love this quote because it is so....sweet...I do wish we could govern who shows up in our dreams.

Year End Review!!

SO I got in major trouble for not posting some pictures along with my last post ( accchhhhmmm...Marissa:) So I decided to post a bunch of pictures of the last year starting with the Youth Banquet. I know that the pictures may not be in the right order but I got tired of fighting with blogger and their weird way of uploading photos.

This, my dear bloggies, is Marissa and I....acting normal for us. I can not look at this picture without laughing, it is one of my favorites (even though it is an awful picture of me:) I cannot remember if Mariss or Trent took this photo, but I love it.

Here we are acting like we are all grown up but in reality we just learned how to behave selves in public.

Ah! Camp where many memories are made. This is my most favorite picture of the three of us. Why I don't know. It is hideous...but it is us. We are silly, love to laugh, and love to help those around us laugh.

The next two pictures are of me and my family. We have been through a lot in the last two years and we still have things to work out but I am so thankful for them.

Watson, I cannot believe that it has been almost a year since he died.

Three months after Watty died I picked this little man up from Copan Oklahoma. He is a cuddle bug and I love him. Anything you want to know about me just ask him, he knows.

BEAUTY AND THE BEAST! read that with out singing the song I dare you :) I can't do it. Marissa Brooklyn and I went one Sunday after church. I still love Broadway.

Last winter we were stuck at home for a week after a full sixteen inches of snow fell on T Town. It did not take long before I was fit to go stir crazy. So I went out side and built a snowman with the help of my mother.

I know that these pictures don't even scratch the top of all the ups and downs of the last year. However they are the best that I have. I cannot wait to see what the next year has in store. All the people that are going to be added to the church and all the other memories that are going to be made.

Year End Review ;)

So I was going to give you a point by point review of the end of the year but instead, I have decided to give you the short version.

Christmas day was great. I did not have to work that morning so I was able to sleep in (not that I did or anything. I woke up at a stinkin seven o'clock in the morning) Figures that the one day that I am allowed to sleep in my body decides to wake up bright and early in the morning ready to go. GRRRR! So....anyway....I got this amazing bean bag chair, a pair of TOMS, an ipod dock, and many other smaller things. For lunch we fixed Chinese food which was amazing! Then it was off to work in the afternoon. Let me just say that I felt very loved...cause all the animals left me presents to clean up :)

We went to Winter Heritage on Thursday and had a wonderful time. I am sorry I did not take any pictures to share with you. I enjoyed being around the youth group and the services were SO powerful.

We got back in to town on Saturday night and after going home to say hello to Mom and Dad, a quick shower, I went back to the gym and spent New Years Eve with all my friends.

All in all the end of the the year was great and I am looking forward to what the new year will bring.

Twas the Night Before Finals.....

And I still have not started studying for my Computer Concepts exam...Shame on me:) yeah I sound really shameful dont I.

Tuesday is the only day that I have off from both school and work so I usually spend it on use full things like doing homework. But not today :) On the week of finals, when I should be doing my last minuet cramming, I slept in and then went and taught PE at the school and did lunch duty then I came home and made a HUGE mess..... :)

AND the partially finished results were...

Yep them be apple dumplings my friends. THEY WERE AMAZING!! (anyone notice that I said were? Yep they are now gone. I am glad to announce that I only ate half of one) I have never made them before so it was a new experience for me. As usual, when I am in the kitchen I had stuff every where. I have a bad habit of wiping my hands on my pants and backside, so by the end of the cooking class I had flour hand prints on my black sweatpants. Very stylish let me tell you:)

Wanna know what else I have been up to......well my friend just keep on readin;)

I am totally done Christmas shopping! Can I get a WHoot WHoooT! SO excited...Can you tell? I do believe this year is a record I have never been done shopping this soon....I dont think anyway:)

IT'S THE MOST WONDERFUL TIME OF THE YEAR!!!

I LOVE CHRISTMAS!!!!

I have to say I love just about everything about this time of year (All but the whole being single through another Christmas season).

I have had fun decorating the house and buying all my Christmas presents, which by the way I am almost done buying...whoot whoot...I do believe this is a record I am normally running around trying to buy the last couple of gifts on Christmas Eve:) Oh and have I mentioned the music...I really like Christmas music! Any one care to guess which song is my MOST favorite....Here is a hint....

Along with Christmas comes Christmas lights of course....So College and Career took a trip out to Rhema to see all the lights. It was beautiful.....I love the way the lights reflect off the water however I could not get a really good picture....

Us people are not the only ones ready for Christmas...Chloe Bob thinks she is going to get some yummy treats this year too.

Playin Catch Up!

Greetings muchacho from the computer of....well....ME:) A lot has been going on since I last blogged (no I am not going to apologise for not posting every week;). Let me see....Welll lets start at the fair.

The Fair was the usual fun, go and walk around people watching and of course eating. Let me see if I can remember all that I ate....corn on the cob, apple fries, stake fingers with gravy, fries, a shish kabob (ha don't think that is spelled right ;), a fried green bean (which was very good), a red velvet cupcake, and of course I had...

I feel that I should mention that I went to the fair TWO times so I did not eat that all in one day. This here is a pic of the apple fries...They were amazing!

Today is Thanksgiving and I am working.....six hours cut into two shifts. I am the only one here for the majority of time so I brought my headphones so I could listen to the Bill Cosby station on Pandora. Just let me say that is some good stuff:) So there I am in an empty clinic with a bunch of barking dogs and my headphones are in on full blast.....Jeff Foxworthy is making a bunch of funnies in my ear and I am CRACKING UP!!! Now remember I have in headphones.....The next thing I know, I hear, "BROOKE ARE YOU OK?"......busted...of course I was not doing anything wrong but I still felt guilty. So I spin around yanking out the headphones to see Dr. Prisinzano coming around the corner with a look of deepest concern. He thought I was crying....Once he realized what was going on he laughed so hard his face turned red. I know my face was BEET RED. Why I don't know...However, points scored for me...I made my boss laugh at 9:00 in the morning and I confirmed his suspicions that I was completely crazy.
